About Robert

Rob is a highly experienced labor and employment, business, and insurance lawyer. His practice focuses on employment, business, and insurance litigation, counseling, and compliance. He has litigated and tried numerous matters in federal and state courts in matters ranging from wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, wage and hour, creditor and lender liability, premises/operations liability, errors and omissions, trucking accidents, insurance disputes, and intellectual property infringement. He is experienced in labor union and employment arbitration matters, as well as the trial and defense of union and non-union claims and charges brought before the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and State and Federal Departments of Labor.

Rob’s employment practices, insurance and tort law background includes numerous panel counsel engagements with major national insurance carriers. He has also coordinated with numerous major insurance carriers in the course of directly representing insureds in third party claims involving significant self-insured retentions.

Rob has in recent years successfully defended a federal defense staffing contractor in a “perfectly clear successor” hiring case before the National Labor Relations Board. He has received defense trial verdicts and summary judgments in wrongful termination and personal injury cases. He has also successfully litigated and vindicated the software trade secret and copyrights of a national, publicly traded company.
